I was part of a team that took on the implementation of a organization-wide rebrand. The brand guidelines, which were developed in-house, needed implementation across all the organization branches and programs. The majority of this process consisted of redesigning program stationery, like permission forms, job descriptions, newsletters and flyers, to fit the new branding.
Much of the rebranding was done in Microsoft Word at the request of Urban Ventures so that templates could be edited by employees and volunteers without training in design programs.
The design team split into small groups to design based on the different programs within Urban Ventures, and one team designed material for the parent company. I redesigned material for Urban Ventures’ tutoring program, Learning Lab, which provides after school homework help, leadership workshops and family resources for students who otherwise might not have access to them.
